My lovely wife is baking chocolate peanut butter cookies today!

Big thanks to DinkyDau for the duck eggs. She used some in these and wow they’re super rich and delicious!

OK here it is:
Wet ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup peanut butter
3 Tbsp milk
1tsp vanilla extract
mix until all ingredients are incorporated then add
1 egg and mix

Dry ingredients
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
Mix well
Add wet ingredients to dry mixture and stir well until smooth
Form into 1-1 1/2 inch balls
Using a fork mash gently to make cross hatched design and flatten to about half the original thickness.

pre heat oven to 375 degrees
Place flattened cookie dough balls on a parchment paper covered cookie sheet leaving room between each cookie (they will spread some as they bake)
Bake for 7-8 minutes
