It’s a nice Kickstarter for them. Free loan at zero interest. I gotta admit I did think they’d close out all the orders in current year…. Seems unlikely now.
Another email, another BS story. Now they're "hoping to have orders filled by mid March". That puts order fulfillment at 7 1/2 months. I told them they should offer discount certificates for those that have had to wait this long. No response on that. I think a few hundred posting on their FB page are warranted at this point.

Finally got my lower today. Almost 6 months to the day.
Finally decided what upper to put on it. I’ve never had a CHF, Chrome lined AR so I decided to build around that, and buy premium parts to build around it…….. After several attempts to make a premium upper on a budget, I tapped out and just bought factory BCM 16” mid length chf, chrome lined barrel, BCM bcg and ambi medium latch ch, and 15” MCMR rail. I’ve got a set of DD fixed sights, MRO, vert grip, Vickers sling, and suppressor mount that I will be putting on tomorrow. I miss the days when you could source a build out, cheaper than a factory rifle is new. I will admit, this setup does feel nice.
