Carry permit question

If you have a marijuana card can you not have a georgia weapons carry permit?

It's illegal on a federal level. I couldn't find anything about Georgia specifically. But you can't legally purchase a firearm as a medical marijuana patient anywhere in the United States of America, at least as far as the federal government is concerned. So I'm guessing that would apply to CCW permits too.
* I could be wrong though. There might be something I'm missing. But as far as I know its an issue with the federal gov.

It’s a good question. I’d rather see stoners carrying a weapon than some alcoholics, just saying. But either way, I’d like to see the constitutionality of the concept decided in the courts rather than some bureaucratic fiat.
