Can You Open a Safe?

A plug in grinder with a few fiber cut off blades will get in the safe in just a few minutes. A problem with some of the older safes is that they have tear gas canisters that will break if you attempt to break in the safe door. Flipping the safe over and cutting out the bottom will usually avoid opening the gas canisters. The only gas canisters I am aware of were in the front door but it is possible they were placed in the sides of specially ordered safes.
It is also easier to weld in a new safe bottom I you want to use the safe again after cutting it open.
Seen this done myself.

My landlord has I believe a Liberty brand gun safe in his office that he ain't been able to open in over a year. We have the combination but can't seem to get it right.:noidea:
