Taking the wife? If she is the type that brings the hair dryer, then RedTop Mtn. Try to snag the Yurt! It has electrical and beds. If she likes roughing it then I say go North and hike in to camp along the AT or Benton McKaye Trail.
Near here........Red top is camping, but not really in the woods. It also requires reservations as they're usually booked up. Spots are first come first serve so if this wknd is what your thinking you need to go now as most do fri-sat.
