Ty guys plenty of camping Exp in N.Fla and field time in the Army but no bush craft Exp
you might want be interested in this group- Zombie Squad, it's a organization that bring groups of people together interested in learning new skills, networking with others as a mean to educate and learn a variety of skills, I know several members are into bush craft skills and are planning events in the near future, the national website is listed below

In! We do "survival Meet ups" and teach and learn from each other. Usually anywhere from 3 to 7 people will show up. I have been on a big job since April that clobbered my whole summer so I haven't done anything this season. @VC94 does Venture Crews in Alabama and I know I missed a couple of meet ups he went to this year. He sent me pics of him hanging out with Dave Catabury at a Tennessee meet up I missed.
Last year @Tacticalcountryboy hosted a meet where we roasted a wild hog on a fire (killed by @300 with dogs and a knife) I got pics of everyone who attended making natural reverse wrap cordage to bind a locally gathered birds nest (each man made his own) that each man made a coal from a bow drill set and blew into flames
