Broken Safe

Hi all, I have an odd one here - my large safe has a broken handle, it popped this morning and just spins.

I called the manufacturer and even though I have the code and the proper key, with the handle mechanism not working at all, the pillars will not move inward to the door.

My challenges, it is bolted and it is in an odd position to K12-it (firefighter language).

Any ideas? Thanks in advance- Fun times ahead!!!!!

Time to call a locksmith than can handle safes. Super stinks, hope you can get it resolved.

Not being a dick… but I’d just open it with whatever it took, honestly can’t be hard and start over.

All you probably need to open a first alert is a small pry bar, a hammer, and a large crow bar.

This is a smaller one but same general idea, know I saw a vid a few years back that showed how quickly two guys were able to get into a full size safe with a similar attack:
