It'll be likely overturned at SCOTUS, however, that outcome can take years. And, once your firearm is on the list you better believe the ATF isn't going to erase it!
It's only a matter of time before they come after "Assault Rifles" and magazines over 10 rounds - then it'll be 5 rounds and all semi-auto arms. It's the same formula other countries have used and are still using. Registry leads to mandatory buy-backs, leading to mandatory turn-ins, and ultimately confiscations. Grandfather clauses will be eliminated and zero transfers between parents to children upon passing. It's a slow drawn-out process, but it's exactly what the federal government is doing.
