Not too sweet to my taste and I like the subtle heat.
Be careful… did an 8lb’er overnight for a family get together today.Gonna do a butt tomorrow...on a pellet. Probably take 7-8 hrs
Rubbed it around 8am Friday morning, plastic wrapped and in the frig till smoking time.
Fired the RecTec up to 225-
On the smoker at 9pm. Pulled it from the heat at 10am this morning with a internal temp of 191*. Never opened the hood till probe showed 197*. Checked it with my ThermoTemp and it read 190*. I knew the RecTec probe was higher than actual… 13 hours Cook time. In the cooler until 1:00 o’clock and then shredded. I think there was enough left for a meal for the wife and myself.

Done and I had one small sandwich, I prefer smoking but health holds me back..Not bad and it ate pretty good..
