The one I smoked from the last sale came out great! At least to my liking, anyway.

I read about a beef glut coming; ranchers selling off their herds due to drought, heat and the high price of feed. There should be some good sales through end of year and then beef prices should skyrocket.

Well I did pick up some butts from Food lion and decided to try one in the Insta Pot..I realized I have one in the freezer from Publix so I thawed it out and put the others in the freezer..First I started prepping seasons and other things needed to cook the butt...

Cut up the butt and made the rub..

Coated all the pork with the rub.

I added some chicken broth and onions and de glazed the pot.

Finally added all the liquids I am using sealed it and now to pressure cook for an Hr..Just have to wait 1 hr to cook and 15minutes to cool down on it's own..Frankly I can't wait..I will post the finished product.

Butt a seven pound Butt in less than two hrs ain't bad..Butt I do love smoking on my 40+ year old Kamado..Or better known as a Green Egg.
