For AR assembly, well, that’s something else. Have him chamber and fit a barrel on a Model 70 with a CRF action and it might be a little different. Master rifle builders are mostly retired or dead now, but many of them were machinists first. I have no knowledge of the OP’s recommendation but I appreciate it.
