I don't get everyone's obsession with pew science's paid strange test. It took him a couple of years to say if you tune your rifle you'll have a much quieter suppressed experience.

I'm talking bolt gun 308 for it. I've not even tried it on a gasser.
I'm a dead air guy, would suggest the sandman or the nomad, based on how hard you plan on shooting your host weapon. Nomad TI is crazy quiet but will probably be out of your listed budget range.

When it comes to cans, why **** about? Just get an appropriate KGM or Thunderbeast.

Ended up purchasing the following:
Rugged Oculus 22
Rugged Obsidian 45
SilencerCo 300 Omega DTM
Dead Air Wolverine
In the process of getting the adapters needed for existing flash hiders/brakes but the Wolverine will pretty much live on the Arsenal and the Omega will primarily only be used on an SBR'd 300 BLK build. It's just too bad we have to pay $200 for what is essentially a muffler. Can you imagine, since cars kill people, having to pay a premium for a muffler and a tax for permission to use it? Absurdity. I'm just salty because I could have bought one more can instead of giving those ****birds more of my money in taxes (aka theft).

Sitting tall with a thin wallet at just under $2,500. Fingers crossed I get a batch approval, but I'm not holding my breath.
