I had a Ruger American and currently have a CZ455. I like the 455 better but think I'm going to sell it. I thought I could overcome running a bolt action left handed but it's pretty much a pain in the butt. With that being said, the 455 is more refined than the American. Better fit and finish, and I liked the iron sights better on the CZ than on the American.

The 455 also has the benefit of being able to swap calibers. I've got a factory .22 Magnum barrel for mine and it takes all of 5 minutes to swap barrels and calibers. Rezeroing the scope may take a bit longer unless you've got your dope written down.

With my CZ455, I have the 22LR, 17 HMR and a 22 Threaded ...
