Couple of years ago the county took a beaver dam out by the bridge down the road. Beavers moved further back in the creek on my property and built another one. Flooded a couple of acres in the woods, but the upside is that area is now a haven for the wood ducks.

The ones I've eaten have been tough, not bad though. It does feels great when you rub your fingers through it. I'm currently getting a big one I killed tanned.
