What do yall have on yours, I've found the the standard summit straps suck. Not bad for short hauls but going way back I'm as uncomfortable as I can be. Been looking hard at the claw straps.

How old are your summit straps? The new ones are nice. I'd look at the old ruck straps at an army surplus. I used those on an old steel climber and they were great.

The new ones that come with the Summit Goliath are comfortable with elastic on the inside near the bottom of the strap that serves kinda like a shock absorber.

I bought the cheap allen straps and then converted them to be like the summit straps with my wifes sewing machine. Me first climber was a summit and liked alot about how that system worked so I convert to similar when i can because the better straps cost to dang much.
