Our leaves (Young Harris, Ga / Hayesville, NC) are already turning brown and falling.. Last week was the peak for us...
It's raining leafs now at the house and has been for I guess a week now.
I took this one
This pic is from my security camera. Not real clear. This raccoon has a fish hook caught in his mouth with the line and bobber hanging out. Arrow shows white bobber in pic.
Have been trying for the last four days to get close enough to help him. This is as close as he will come to me.
Set up traps but he was trying to get food out from the side of the cage and got line tangled up somehow. Just as I got out there he managed to break free from the cage and scared him off. Saw him again last night but now he is avoiding me and cage. Still is attached to hook. He can open his mouth barely enough to get some food in.
Have found a rescue place that will help him if I can catch him. If I cannot catch him, guess I will have to put him down.
