Taken on the ridge line behind my house -
Departing JFK airport to the west, with NY skyline on the horizon…. sorry about the bug smashes and glare on the windshield…. had to get a good pic through the think windshield material….
There's nothing better than getting paid to look out the window....

Unlike cars…. there are very few airplanes with windshield wipers and none with "washer systems"…. and this time of year, there’s plenty of bugs below 2000 feet…. before JFK, I had already been in/out of Washington Dulles…. the nose and wings looked like I flew through a swarm of them "lovebugs" in N FL….

Sun setting over turns 1and 2 as seen in the reflection of the suite glass looking at turn 4 at Atlanta Motor Speedway during this past spring race. Awesome sun set and race!!!
