Attaching Picatinny rail on HS precision stock

I have a Winchester mod 70 Heavy Varmint and I would like to be able to use my Atlas bipod with a QD picatinny attachment.


How would I add a picatinny rail to to my stock to use said bipod?

So this would essentially use the 2 sling studs on my forearm?

Kinda. Kit comes with 2 screws that replace the swivel studs.

Here’s an option for stocks with single swivel studs, but I’m unfamiliar with the quality. It’s Chinese.

You could.

There should be an aluminum chassis molded inside the stock, and the front sling swivel is threaded into it. You could drill a hole into the chassis, and thread it.

ahh Got cha! Makes sense, just looked around on HS precisions website and they sell the pic rail with screws. Just have to drill and tap the bedding block!
