I plan out what I want to image on a few apps. I have a motorized mount controlled via laptop for acquiring and tracking a target. My previous mount would only account for earth's rotation, I had to find objects manually. Learning where stuff was manually was good, but having a go-to mount is a huge time saver.
I never really thought about how much needs to happen to get a quality still photo of a moving object in space from a platform (earth) that is also moving. Space is fascinating. I enjoy your photography
