Assault weapons ban is NOT the answer

Clinton enacted an assault weapons ban from 1994-2004, here's the results:

Not the answer at all...how about bullet proof glass and doors? More LEO's on school grounds? Principal/vice p with tazers? Instead of implementing procedures/plans to protect our children, prevent tragedies like these, the morons are are jumping all over gun control...which I doubt verrrrryyyyy seriously would have or could have had an impact on this situation.

Oh, btw, did anyone hear about the guy in China that stabbed 20 kids? Wonder if the chinese govt will ban knives??

Semi-auto firearms are used in all sporting events from target to hunting and defense. There are not "assault weapons" like the military select fire weapons. The term is used by the left as a way to manipulate the public opinion. They are not stupid. Socialism,communism and redistribution can not happen in a free society. The population must be disarmed. They KNOW that as long as there are any firearms available there are going to be crazy people willing to use it to commit crimes and attack soft targets such as "gun free zones". Their solution, more gun control. This will start the association gun=bad guy, as an intended effect created to manipulate the public perception.
