Good thing about SW GA. Rarely snows or have freezing rain. Doesn't freeze many days per winter.

Bad is the freakin heat, humidity, biting bugs and GNATS.

I remeber it snowing in Thomasville on Christmas day one year !
My parents used to live there for like 10years after they retired....i was going down there every other weekend at least to see them and to fish/hunt/hang out in the country. I loved it!

Less than 10 yrs ago we had 18" on Christmas day, and a week and a half later it went to 2ft...We have been dusted with sleet or snow 4 or 5 times so far..2-4 inches is Meh!
