AR 15 Red Dot

Anybody use a FFIII red dot on a AR15 . I have a AR in 7.62/39 and thinking of using the red dot. It is scope ready with no sights

i have in the past and known a few folks that have. in my opinion they are a little small and i had a hard time finding the dot quickly a few time. i'd go with a slightly larger dot like a romeo5, vortex sparc, or holosun 403.
