I was thinking of paying off my house at 3.75%. I was looking on Capital One's website and saw 5% for 11 months. That is crazy. At this point paying off house doesnt make sense

With 6%(real is much higher) inflation,investing is a joke.

Any local banks offering close to 5% on a 12-18 month? Looking to stay out of a brokerage account if possible.

At the current rate of inflation, unless you are grossing 15-18% per anum, after taxes on any paper investment, you are going backwards.

Numbers wise I agree but that debt free mortgage money in your pocket feels reallllly good lol
