If you got it by accident and don't want it, lemme know :thumb:

I use 2400 for my .357 and it works good. Plenty of recipes out there for the 125 JHP (I use XTPs). I'll have to go look in my books and notes for my load...don't wanna tell you the wrong thing.

Lyman's 48th Edition Reloading Handbook using 125gr. Hornady JHP with CCI550 primer and Federal Case, lists the starting load for Alliant 2400 at13.0 gr. developing a velocity of 1159' and pressure of 24,900 CUP. 1.59 OAL

Generally speaking, Alliant 2400 is at its best when used for heavy loads. My favorite powder for magnum loads in .357 mag and .44 mag. Unique and Universal are better suited for light loads IMO.

I agree, although I use unique for my sons 44 carbine.

I use 2400 in 38spec, 357mag, 44mag, 45lc, and 460.

Many years ago I found some good loads for the 2400 in 38spec.

I never list any of my loads but if you can find some older books you will find them.
