See if any locals Metal Detect. I do and we find lead all the time. Fishing weights wheel weights old plumers weights and such. I will go trough some stuff and see what I have.

Check with your dentist, they have to pay to dispose of the lead used in the new digital ex rays. Offer to collect it for free. Also, if you have a friend that works at a marina, the keels of many sailboats that are being demo'ed because repairs are more then the boat is worth, are a huge source (like a lifetime's worth) of lead.

Lol, also, if your in the market for a new vehicle, tell the dealer if he doesn't throw in a 5 gallon bucket of used wheel weights the deal is OFF! I bet you'll be driving off the lot in your new vehicle with the rear end sagging.

Don't even asked the guys at walmart. I have another place locked down that I get from but have a friend on the inside. But ive already promised my next 2 5gal buckets to the guy that gets me all my brass.
