I'd look at 8-15 yr old Buicks

. No one wants them except geezers and they buy new ones

Either that or 92-96 Thunderbirds or Cougars
Good cars. Easy to work on and like buicks. Virtually no resale value

Buy a cheap Code scanner like a Actron. At an auto parts store.
Plug it In to any 96 or newer. Car after your. Test drive to check for trouble codes
