Need to buy a mattress for the guest room/ dog house. Has anyone ordered a cheap one and liked it? Consumer Reports likes the nova form. Thoughts? Aint going to spend $1200 .

I bought one for a guest room. Once.
It was terrible. I'd go to Ben's mattress in Canton and buy whatever they have on sale before I do that again.

I bought a memory foam one from Amazon a few years ago for under 300. I needed a quick solution so didn't expect much. It was excellent. It had over 11,000 reviews so felt safe enough. I needed another recently and the same one is now over 500. Wife ordered a similar one and it's just OK. Nowhere near as plush.
