The 10 speed transmission is a joint venture between GM and Ford. Hopefully Ford engineers understand stress testing parts better than GM engineers.

Ford Credit received a loan through the TARP Program. Loan, meaning it was paid back with interest. A loan is not the same as a bailout.

I ordered a Ram 3500 exactly how I wanted it for a 1000 over invoice. Saved about 9 grand from msrp... It took about 4 months to get it but well worth the wait.... I know this doesn't help you but hopefully you'll find a dealer who will give you the same deal!

I really miss my ‘89 Suburban .
350 engine 400 trans - 3/4 ton …. That thing was a beast !
Loved that truck ! It would pull a house and climb a mountain without breaking a sweat - was a great driving/riding rig when I got through with the suspension too !

maybe others can post up dealers that are selling at 1k over invoice, that should help this fellow out....what dealer was that??
