Any Vintage Rifle Matches scheduled for 2017 yet?

Great American M1 Garand Match, Jan15th, 2017, 8:00am

Location: Dawsonville, GA
Rules: Current NRA Highpower Rifle Rules Apply
Eligibility: Open
Classification: None.
Fees: $5 RBGC members, $10 non-members, $5 Juniors (<21)
Rifles Permitted: M1 Garand. Should conform to either JCG “As Issued” or CMP Service Rifle (National
Match) Rules
Ammunition: NRA Rule 3.17a&b, furnished by the competitor
Targets: SR, SR3, and MR63 will be used at 200, and 300 yds, and Army F silhouette for Rattle Battle
Squadding: Squadding will be done during registration just prior to the match.
Scoring and Pit duty: All competitors will be required to score and pull pits
Match Schedule:
Registration: 8:00 to 8:30. First shot downrange at 9:00 am.
Match 1: 200yds, Slow Fire, standing, 2 sighters and 10 shots, 12 minutes
Match 2: 200yds, Rapid Fire, sitting, 2 sighters and 10 shots, 60 seconds
Match 3: 300yds, Rapid Fire, prone, 2 sighters and 10 shots, 70 seconds
Match 4: 300 yds, Slow Fire, prone, 2 sighters and 10 shots, 12 minutes
Match 5: Aggregate of Matches 1-4
Match 6: (Optional) 300 yd Rattle Battle. 50 seconds to score as many hits as you can on Army F
silhouette
Awards: Bragging rights mostly. There will be some small cash awards for Stage and Agg winners.
Bring your own refreshments. Weather permitting we will grill something in the pits after the match.

River Bend Gun Club, High Power Range is doing a range maintenance day Jan 14th, 9:30
Weather should be nice. Come out and meet the range masters and the usual crew. Get a tour of the facilities.

A little background info:
RBGC, HighPower Range host monthly match which are open to the public.
They host NRA Across the Course(XTC), NRA Mid-Range, and CMP matches. Check the calendar.
Everyone is friendly and they accommodate shooters of all skill. Coaching is allowed, just ask for help,
loaner equipment, etc. PM me if you have any questions.

Floyd County Wildlife Club, CMP Sanctioned 200yrd GSM Match (Garand, Springfield 03, Vintage, Modern Military)

5 sighters, 10rds slow Prone, 10rds rapid Prone, 10rds slow Standing
2 matches, $20 first match, $10 second match. Same rifle or different rifles.
I'll be shooting a 1926 Spanish 7mm Mauser, maybe the Garand for the second match
Very laid back match, great for first time match shooters.

If you are a new GARAND OWNER - This match would be a great start in competitive marksmanship. Just email the match director , Pay your $, and have fun!
 
I may try to make one of these Floyd County Wildlife matches at least 1 time this summer. They do them monthly. Just like Riverbends reduced monthly match which is fantastic.
