Any motorcycle riders on here? I live in PTC and usually do a south side loop on Saturdays with a couple friends. I've been off the road for about 12 yrs but recently picked up an '05 Yamaha FJR. The itch just got to be too much to ignore! I used to ride an FZ1 rather hard and fast, but I'm older and wiser now, so I'm riding more to enjoy and chill out. I still like an occasional burst of speed (and the FJR will do it big time), but I'm not pushing the corners anymore.
Pine Mtn is part of my regular 175-200 miles motorcycle loop, which includes meeting in Senoia, to Woodbury, Manchester, Chalybeate Springs, Woodland, back to Manchester and over the mtn to Pine Mtn, Shiloh, LUNCH then Hamilton, backroads to crossing Hwy 18 to Salem Rd, to Mountville, Hogansville, Grantville, Moreland, Sharpsburg, PTC and home. We usually do it Saturday morning 10-11 to 3-4pm.
