Friend of mine drives one of these. Little yellow Elise. Takes it to Barbers(?) I think and runs it. I haven't taken him up yet on borrowing it. Yet. BTW, nice car.

Those little go carts must be awesome in the mountains. The horse power in the specs seems weak until you look at what they way. Agile,fast and light little go carts!

If you're willing to take a salvage title, you can grab an else much closer to 20k.... The thing about modern Lotus is that they 'total' very easily because the body work is good awful expensive and not repairable.

Last elise I saw was under the back of a jacked up f150. Still had the temporary dealer tag on it. Not much left of the car.

Yeah, a lot of them meet that fate. ... usually just fiberglass damage. .... but the oem body parts are obscenely priced.

The élan is squared away. ... I'm really enjoying this little rocket. ... gets a lot of attention as well
