My son bought a 1998 C1500 Chevy truck.
He has since put a "new" engine in it as well as a new transmission.
We have two ECM's for this truck. 1 is his original and 1 is from the donor truck.
Neither are properly set up to run this truck correctly so he has the least problematic ECM installed.
The big problem he has is that the truck is old and nobody has the ability to program it anymore. We've called all over town and then some to find someone.
This afternoon, I remembered an old co-worker of mine installing a MegaSquirt in his car.
Is there any such thing available for carburetor vehicles that I could use to replace the ECM?
