Nick pulled through once again with another one of my more difficult requests. The suppressor is an AB-F4 and they come standard 1/2x28 direct thread only. I needed 3 lug for my application so off it went to Ecco and the fun began. The placement of the serial number and the shallow depth to the first baffle made most mount conversions a no go. I wanted bravo threads to begun with and there is no 3 lug adapter threaded bravo that would clear the first baffle. Nick suggested the KVP but we decided against it because, according to the forums, the KVP wouldn't lock onto a factory HK 3-lug. He didn't have a HK to test it on and I didn't have a KVP to try on my end. Next plan was the SICO micro 3 lug but even then it was not for sure due to the first baffle. So I dug and dug and found a gemtech 3 lug mount that has the threads on the end of the mount instead of the top, so plenty of room on the first baffle. That was what we did and it came out fantastic. It added length to the overall package and weight, but it's still much lighter than any other pistol can I have. I'm well pleased.
