Ammo Can Shortage?

I started reloading 9mm and so I went to pick up a 50 cal ammo can to store them in. Found out no one has the surplus ones. Looked from Commerce to Acworth, even TruPrep was out. Finally found one at Straight Shooters in Cleveland. I mean, I didn't run all over the place in one day, nor was I just looking for a can. I like to make gun store trips all over the place regardless. But, much like everything else, is there a shortage on ammo cans?

Walmart has the cheap Chinese knockoffs for around $15.00 . So does Academy. I MAY have a dozen or so of the tall night vision storage cans left in the shop. Same as the 50 cal cans but a good bit taller. Although it looks like we're a good ways apart. Personally, I kinda like the plastic ones from Harbor Freight.

Yeah Walmarts metal ones aren’t that bad actually… $13 or so… and their plastic were around $5? I’ve heard good things about the harbor freight ones also.

The HF plastic ones come in at least 2 sizes. One is a skinny size kinda like the 30 cal milsurp cans. The other is probably big enough to sit a 59 cal can down inside and close the lid. And they have a tray inside.

Well I guess they have 3 different sizes. Because that's what I have here

I have ton of those Walmart metal ones they aren’t bad I had them for years. They held up pretty good. Always ton in stock here

Heard obiden is crushing them. But I have about 10 extra saw cans, 50 and 30 cal cans. All military surplus in good condition.
