Well I can land a jet without “landing gear”. Considering I don’t know how to deploy the landing gear that’s about the only way I know how to land
. I’m just kidding. That is a cool video though for sure, thanks for sharing it.
That’s pretty neat. Interesting that they had a stool for that situation, sounds like it has happened before
Tons of training and one hell of a landing on a Flat top..The carrier is going up and down at the same time of the landing..Outstanding
Even as a former military pilot, that was exciting for me to watch.
I’m retired now, but I really miss the profound professionalism of military aviation. From the maintenance A&Ps to the support teams to my fellow officers, it was awesome to be a part of that.
Even though I’ve been lucky enough to do a lot of cool things in my life, those aviation years were my best and most fulfilling years.
