For the money I don’t expect much but wondering does it fit without any modification? Is it cheaply made? It looks straight forward but just checking if anyone has used one before ordering for myself. Thanks

They work okay just don't expect it to hold zero especially if you take it off for maintenance. I have one if you're interested.
Thanks for the info. Not sure if it’s worth the hassle to meet up over a $25 part but I appreciate the offer. Did you have to do anything to make it fit correctly? Or is it as straight forward as it looks?

I have a gas tube rail that seems pretty solid. Here's a link, just make sure you get the right one for your rifle.

Head over to the AK operators union4774 page he should be able to school you on what works well for the AK...Don't cheap out on mounts. It holds the optic securely to the gun. You'll need that optic to send rounds where you need them to go. An optic is good as its mount
