Just some minor cutting, drilling and welding a couple holes. Rivet & refinish. Some people heat treat the holes.

It's going to take an experienced AK tinkerer. I don't know of any that do that kind of mods locally.
You also got other options like adapters and whatnot. I personally like the wire folder, part of what makes a tantal a tantal.

Here is one you don't see everyday....in fact I've never seen another one...

Arsenal/Saiga built factory gun with a Russian side folder and wooden hand guard. I put the booster on there...never seen another like it.

Honestly I'm not sure....it looks VERY Similar to my SGL21 but has no markings on it for model number...it's an OLDER Arsenal and I've emailed them to ask about it's origins but have not heard back.
