It's funny you should post this, since I just bought one of those the other day and used it to remove/replace the sights on my M&P9c. Worked great and only took a few minutes. Well worth the $$$.

I ordered one a few days ago, and it just came in the mail today. Now I can install my own sights! Woohoo!

And then for people like me.. There's this.

It's really nice. I just popped the sights off of my Sig P238, so now I can polish the top of the slide.

I used to do that before this tool.

I beat the hell out of my Kimber CDP Pro. The sights didn't budge. Then I tried to call Kimber customer service to ask them if there was a trick to getting the sights off the gun. No answer in business hours. Then I found a card under the foam in my pistol case that said the sights were Meprolite and had been press fit to the slide. The card said I would need a pusher ($675 tool) from Meprolite to move the sights.

That's where this tool helped me out. Now I think I'm done beating on pistol sights. This alternative is so easy, and doesn't mar the crap out of expensive sights. Too bad I had to learn the hard way. My Kimber rear sight isn't quite as pretty as it once was.
