Aero Ultralight AR Mounts…Opinions???

How do you feel about the Burris PEPR?

A better mount than the Aero, definitely.

I like the Aero mounts - got them on a couple of AR uppers. Used them for a while - no issues.

most people like more expenses ones..........Peper seems heavier(but I assume more study).

So far larping (seen people with them shooting) with the AERO and burris peppers I have not seen any fail (Small sample size)

If its the "go to protection pay a little more for a better one is my .02 cents.

These look sturdy to me..........

Until you knock that scope on a tree, rifle tips over and hits the ground, or hit it on the side of the plush couch while larping.

Personally? No. Seen enough broken ones to stay away from em.

I personally like the LaRue LT104, but he ain't gonna penny up to that idea. The LaRue mounts are commanding quite a price these days.

They are "ultralight" because it's a pot metal and extremely thin. Can look at the grain structure on broken ones and see exactly why they failed.

I have one on a .308 that seems to be doing fine. Holds zero. Just a range/hunting rifle so not hard abuse.

I've only used LaRue mounts. Gone thru at minimum 2k rounds each range day (x3) this year. Never lost zero once.

Don't like Aero Precision scope mounts. Will not use them.
