I think they know they are nearing a fine line as to where ammo just will not be an affordable "recreational" purchase anymore. People can hardly afford to buy groceries much less burning money at the range just for a good time.

The good news there less neckbeard dumb****s at the range and less chance of accidently getting shot.

I have tons of 9mm stacked but at this price it's worth stacking another case. My pre-covid price threshold was around $.18 a round delivered or picked up. I'll never see that again but this is close.

I wouldn't normally go to academy for anything.....but I received a gift card for Christmas to academy.
I picked up a free (to me) box this morning. The academy in McDonough had around 40 boxes left.
I figure it'll be good range fodder at least.

In case anyone misses it, RTI has been having brass cased 124gr 9mm - 1000 rds for $200 for some time now. I don't know much about it other than it is from Turkey, looks like good stuff to me though.
