I have been contemplating the thought of a 9mm AR build. I know a dedicated lower would be better, but I have a stripped lower that is begging to be completed. Not wanting to go through the expense of trial and error, thought I would ask my fellow ODT members for their input. What complete uppers function the most reliably? What barrel length? Use the magwell adapter or modded AR mags ( I'mthinking the pistol mags take up less space)?
