Just shot a nice buck but I hit him back and high. Ran down by me and my bolt is stuck in him and he was bleeding pretty good. I'm mad at myself. Hopefully that rage does its job but I'm not confident at the moment.

That’s king blood for sure. If you only got 1, give the other one time to deflate. He won’t tote that around for very long. If you are patient he’ll only bed one time, then expire right there.

Sitting at work since 0530. Have funeral at 11am and watching grandbaby this afternoon. Maybe tomorrow evening will be available depending on if daughter-in-law has baby today. Admitted yesterday and being induced at 40 weeks due to BP.

I got off of shift at 08:00, went to scout a tract of land owned by a friend. Saw a couple deer up feeding around. I found some pin oaks dropping already, right next to a major intersection of deer trails. I might set up on it in the morning.
