80% lone wolf $50

Got mine put together last night with the lone wolf LPK, i only have gen 4 slides (one oem and one GGP) and cant get either of them to go onto the frame, the barrel feed ramp is hitting the locking block it seems, stripped slide goes on easily, maybe i miss drilled the holes and the block is too high, anyone have any tips, maybe file down the locking block slightly to see if it will fit?

Got it working now, the trigger pin holes were out of alignment slightly tweaking the locking block up on one side, ran the drill bit completely through frame and locking block by hand with a tap t-handle several times testing fit between every few passes and got it pretty close without opening up holes too much, the oem glock slide is still pretty tight but my grey ghost one fits perfect

Haven’t built mine yet, but curious , did you use a drill press or hand drill? Debating on which I should try. Hate to buy a drill press just for this though.

I used a hand drill, i did put it in a drill press vise like the instructions say though. I would imagine i just wasnt perfectly perpendicular to the frame when drilling, the holes in the jig are tight and the bit has to turn to even pass through them, probably could have done a little better taking my time more, but i would think a drill press would only improve or help the process, i decided it wasnt worth purchasing a drill press for a $50 frame, i have seen some cheap ones at harbour freight etc if you might have a use for the drill press in the future.

I have built 2 so far and no issues with mine but I did use a Drill press for the holes.
I have one more to build and will start on it as soon as the PSA dagger upper gets here for it.

I have over 50 rounds through the second pistol and over 500 rounds through the first without any issues so far.
The Slide on the first one is a Brownells Window Slide with RMR cuts and the second one has a Slide from jsdsupply.com.
Will update as i put more rounds through these builds.
