them days are over, but its still cheaper and more readily available than some other rifle calibers. think my next rifle will be a semi-auto in this caliber.

It does make itself known out of a m44! That reminds me, Ive still got one in cosmoline I cherry picked years ago. I need to clean it up and grab the other nagants and go have a day of it. Cant wait for the ARCHANGEL stock to hit the shelves. Time to find one to sporterize.
