I just picked up a Mosin (Russian) 91/30. Looking for bullets and cases to try and reload preferably with brass. Not really sure what I can use for reloading this cartridge. I could use some mentoring on this. I am willing to pay for advice or personal tutoring.

I have 2 spam cans of 7.62x54r. $500 for all of it or $250 for one.
However, I moved to north east Alabama so we'd need to meet half way. If not, I completely understand.

I just got one recently and am also looking for ammo, although it's WW2 vintage, so I didn't need much, maybe 40-60 rds total. I know Ammo Seek has it for less than .60 CPR at the moment without shipping.

Did you ever find your brass or bullets? I have both as well as some match ammo I can sell, no longer needed at reasonable price

Mosin uses .312 if I recall correctly
Not .308 or .310

If I'm wrong and it's .310 like a 7.62x39mm then I have an unopened box of 100 count projectiles.

.312" to .315" is my experience. Some bores can be tighter. Only way to know is slug it. I do this because I like shooting cast and sized lead bullets from mine.

Funny enough they actually use all of them as well as .311 there are a lot of variations between barrels …. You have to slug your bore
