500,000 Year old spark plug?

I was reading a thing the other day where the artifact was inspected by some spark plug collectors. They concluded that it was a 1920's era Champion spark plug.... but how did it get encased in rock if it's only from the 1920's?
Could it be that the minerals in the location it was found could have accelerated the process of the rock forming around it?
Or maybe a time traveler went back in time and dropped a spark plug just for ****s and giggles

Thats crazy! Maybe ET needed a new spark plug for his model T. He had a few but dropped one on his way out of town!
I think i would have chosen a better vehicle to go back in time with besides a model t....lol

I have been working on this time machine in my spare time I also happen to have a 1920´s spark plug and some other stuff i plan on littering throughout history just to mess with archeologists. I guess Im going to succeed 
I think the indian that drawed the spaceship on the rock didn't pass the pipe fast enough , and toked it too much!!
