40 acres of grass to mow in columbus

Ok. So it looks like our office got a contract to do some environmental work at Benning

Part of it consists of mowing a former landfill once a month
for five years
Dunno if we are gonna buy something to do it with or hire it out

Anyhoo. If we hire it out
Whoever does it has to have insurance
Fill out the OSHA form showing how many man hours worked in last two years
How many accidents etc

Have a 8 or more likely a 40 hr safety cert etc

This is a landfill with a thin layer of clay on top to prevent rain water from soaking in and lots of vent stacks etc

We had a similar thing in Chattanooga but was mowing only twice a year

Lots of people wanted to do it but once I handed them the 10 page OSHA form I never heard from em again

Sounds like they need to start a new landfill so the paper work to mow this one will have a place to go lol
