what 223 Factory ammo do you recommend for whitetail deer? 100 yards maximum shot.

62, 64 soft point on up ...... barnes 70 solids will work ... shot placement is of course paramount, but as a young man I have taken many of them with ball yeah I said it ..........

Funny story- a buddy bought an AR and wanted to kill a deer with it. We sighted in at 100 yds and I gave him a bunch of 64 gr TSX reloads. The following Saturday night he sent me pics of 9 does he shot that day. He said they were all shoulder shots- the same dance. Jump straight up and fall within 20 yds.
