1986 Toyota SR5 4X4 project......

Doing the Lord's work my man. I had to slum a Nissan Pathfinder for my latest purchase. One day I will drive a Yota again.

Here are a few updated pictures.

All I have done so far is soak the entire vehicle in mold and mildew remover, 3 times. Rinse and repeat, every time.

I have not had time to wash it yet, but at least I can get an idea of what the paint looks like without it being covered in mold.

I did vacuum out the inside carpet and seats, threw out the old carpet floor mats and installed a new set of Husky rubber floor mats. I wiped down the console, dash, and all the plastic parts with a mild cleaner. Hopefully to follow with some protectant of some sort very soon.

I also spent a fair amount of time removing all the stickers my dad had plastered all over the windows.

All the exterior lights work, all the interior lights except one work, and the radio is dead. Might just be a fuse blown.

I have a factory owners manual ordered and should be here this week. New wiper arms, factory mirrors, and a few lens covers ordered also.

Enjoy....

I spent the last week doing some clean up and polishing on the rims. These are the factory rims that came when he picked it up.
They were a real mess, and I had to remove them completely to be able to get my cleaner and polish into every little corner.

After I had them cleaned up, I went ahead and ordered a whole new set of chrome lug nuts for each tire.

It's coming together, little by little.
