1911 Officer Extended Thumb Safety Replacement

I've got a Citadel 1911 Officer and I'd like replace the standard thumb safety with an extended thumb safety. I can't seem to find any info about whether a standard 1911 thumb safety will work, or if I have to find one specifically for an Officer model. Anyone know?
